As a Jacksonville native who has resided in both Duval and Clay County, Edmund has an extensive and comprehensive understanding of the lifestyle, communities, schools, neighborhoods and businesses on the First Coast. Edmund is a proven leader with a strong record of professional achievements and boasts years of experience and knowledge in both the real estate and mortgage servicing industries going back to 1987. His experience as a REALTOR, Real Estate Office Manager, Real Estate Software Developer and Market Analyst, Program Manager and Corporate RiskDirector for a multi-billion dollar company provides Edmund with all the tools in his back pocket to achieve success on every transaction. Edmund realizes that each transaction is unique and multifaceted, thus, he utilizes all his learned experiences with buyers and sellers, as well as his meticulous attention to facts and detail, to create a well-rounded, individualized service that assures results. Additionally, Edmund maintains a large network of business contacts and has served on several non-profit boards. His intrigue and passion for the real estate business plus his long history of volunteerism are evident in every effort to help his customer’s in every aspect of the real estate transaction. His former leadership on a local historic community non-profit board, Springfield Preservation and Revitalization (SPAR) Council, as well as on-going work experiences of engaging the City of Jacksonville on various matters on historic and older properties have become priceless in maneuvering through some very difficult real estate transactions. In 2021, Edmund started THE AKERS GROUP with Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty to share his experience with others in the real estate business, thoughtfully recruiting members to the team that shared the same passion and experience of the real estate business and create a team of excellence. Glenn Guiler
Glenn Guiler has spent a lifetime learning how
to make a house a home…wherever it may be. Born in England and raised a military brat, from Air Force base military housing to residences in seven U.S. states, plus England and France, Glenn truly understands the value and meaning of “home”.
He also knows the value of relationships. Building trust and goodwill with customers is something he learned over a long career as a luxury retail sales and management consultant. And it’s one of the foundational skills he brings to his real estate business. He’s also a detail-oriented planner, always working with the end in mind. It’s a trait that helped him succeed as an advertising account manager for a wide range of prestigious luxury brands, and it informs his approach to guiding customers today.
Having been settled in Jacksonville for more than a decade now, Glenn is an enthusiastic supporter of the arts, including the Jacksonville Symphony, and a member of the Vestry of St. Johns Episcopal Cathedral. He’s an accomplished “armchair” interior designer, with a keen eye for color, as well as an avid gardener.
